Silly Little Girl

June 26, 2010

Silly little girl with her head in the clouds

Held down by her furry little boots

Fickle in her thoughts of love and lust

Forgoing the truth for her own version in her head

Silly little girl with her piercing eyes

The ones that draw lustful attraction and drive away happiness

She dodges the good pushing those close to her away

And drawing in those that pose the most danger to her

Silly little girl that places value over quality

Selfishness over compromise

Pushing away your kindred spirit

For a caretaker that leaves you whining for more

Silly little girl stuck in your own world

Where the sun orbits around you

When the stars don’t align you break down and cry

I feel pity for you because you can’t enjoy a day

Unless everyone and everything does what you say
